Tagged

Annaliese (my former roommate) has "tagged" me. Basically what this means is that I fill out one of those chain letter things, except without all the death threats.

The rules: Player (I prefer to call myself a blogger rather than a player...but whatev,) lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. At the end of the post, player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and posts a comment letting them know they've been tagged and asking them to read our blog for the rules. (yeah I dunno if I'll actually tag people. We'll see.)

1. Fact: Jacob and I have purchased over 40 books in our last year together. This does not count textbooks or other books required for school. Most recently we bought a bunch of books that I'm not going to name because some of them may or may not be Christmas presents for people who may or may not read this blog. As Erasmus said, "When I get a little money, I buy books; and if any is left, I buy food and clothes."

2. Habit: I'm addicted to reading. It's just so good! I love books of all kinds but there is a special place in my heart for children's and young adult books. But you already knew that, so it hardly counts. So, I'm also addicted to brotherhood 2.0.

3. Fact: I went skydiving once. It was terrifying. That could be because it was my first time on an actual plane. Yeah. Or maybe it was the 60 seconds of freefall. The parachuting part was actually really cool. Landing...not so much. Anyway, it's only since then that I've flown on regular, commercial flights.

4. Habit: A new habit: watching Pushing Daisies on ABC. A girl in my ward is doing some of the animation for it (it's live action, though), and it is awesome. You can watch full episodes online!

5. Fact: Jacob and I are going to see The Marriage of Figaro tonight. Opera. Yeah, we're cultured.

6. Habit: Checking my email. Jacob will vouch for the fact that this is a big habit of mine. See, my theory is that anyone, at any time, could email me. Therefore, I must check my email as often as possible. Also, I'm in the habit of keeping a journal every night. I recommend that to anyone. The rule of reading my journal is this: if you read it out loud, in front of me, you can read it all you like.

I tag Hilary B. and ummm, The Halls, since Renee was roommates with Annaliese 'n' me.
(Was she the one that picked up the card scraps? I can't remember!)

Also, our poll is now officially closed and Unicorns win! That's because they could take zombies any day. Although, three people did vote zombie, so I'm kind of curious as to their pro-zombie arguments. Feel free to comment, if you want to share them you zombie-lovers. (Ha! you're a zombie lover! ha! ew!)

And I finished Hattie Big Sky a while ago... I'll post a review sometime soon. Also, I'll post some pictures or something, maybe.

Ok, crazy that you went skydiving. I don't think I will ever do that, though I would prefer that over bungee jumping. Nice to see you at the opera tonight. I guess that means I'm cultured too?

Totally. Opera attendance=cultured. And I don't think I'd ever go bungee jumping. Nope.

I went the opera recently, too. Ha, we match!

totally agree about the chain email thing. I merely like to torture others if I have been tortured. And no, the paper picker-upper was when Meag and i lived in the dorms. It was actually our neighbor, not a roomate...whoops.

Wow, I heard that story so often I thought I might have been there :D
