Been meaning to mention

Levi is weighing in at 17.8 pounds.

Yesterday I made sushi! Fun, yummy, cheap (fillings were canned salmon with lemon juice, avocado and green onion), a little bit labor intensive. We've also been enjoying homemade bread (thanks to Jeremy and Molly for the breadmaker) and homemade granola bars recently.

We have convinced a friend (Hi Susan, if you read this!) to lend us some cloth diapers, so that we can try cloth risk-free.  Probably not for 30 days.  More like 6 days. But it's been just over 24 hours, and seems fine.

Potty training continues. Benjamin prefers exotic toilets to his own two options at home.

We would like your granola bar recipe. Sounds good! I'm impressed you made sushi too! How did it turn out? Was it worth the work?

Of course I read this, silly!

Yes! Gather lots of exotic toilet training successes, then the home toilet will become less dramatic and more just a part of the way of things. You are a brave, food artist.

When you say exotic toilets, what do you mean exactly? The first thing that comes to my mind are bidets and automatic-flushing toilets.

Jenni -- will post the recipe!
Susan -- oh. riiiight.
Mom -- I hope so, and thank you!
Jenni Elyse -- Bidets are awesome! But no, I just meant any toilet in another place.
