Okay folks. The poll on the gender of our second child has closed. It had 30 votes -- 10 for boy and 20 for girl.
1/3 of you can congratulate yourselves...
We'll be having a BOY!
Pretty awesome, huh? Now we just have to decide what to name the kid. The doctor suggested Maximus, then laughed really hard at the looks on our faces. Truth be told I love the name Max (but would probably pick Maxwell over Maximus or Maximillian) however Max sounds horrible with Stewart. It ends up sounding like Mac, and that is not an option.
Jacob likes "good strong names" and I like names that aren't "too common" -- if you think you've got something that fits the bill, suggestions are welcome!
Probably the cutest thing about it all is that we can ask Benjamin, "are you having a baby brother?" and he'll say "yeah."
Long, long catch-up

Congratulations!
Well, you already have the Jacob with Benjamin. So, I say you choose another one of the twelve. How about Gad? That's not too common. ;)
Yay for boys! And I love your post title. :)
Is 'Rock' strong enough? Lol. I met a family who had named their son Rockford and just called him Rock. Nice.
I actually have an uncle named Rock. His middle name is Manly. Pretty awesome, huh?
I was about to say the same thing as Jenni. Good thing I read her comment. As far as realistic baby names, I'm out of the business now so I'm not even gonna try. You're on you own (as you should be. It's your baby not mine;))
Congratulations Alysa!! I'm excited for you!
I'm sorry I never responded to your sweet note about being my pen pal. You are awesome to offer. Thanks Alysa.
Wooohoo! I have 2 boys too! They will be such good little buddies as they grow. That is exciting! The name game is hard for me- our situation is like yours- I don't want too common of a name, and David wants a good strong name! Good luck!
Maximus seems to go with Gluteus, eek. I like Jared, hmm wonder why. I've heard Noah and Moses a lot these days. Aaron is cool so is David. So many to choose from! you'll pick a good one.
Bruce is a nice strong not "too common" name. Bruce Stewart - what ever floats your boat.
