A Poem I Wrote: This Morning

This morning when I woke up
        I spit toothpaste in my hair.
Deoderant on my black shirt --
        No big deal, right? I don't care.
I tied my shoes in double-knots;
        They quickly came undone.
Fell down the stairs and out the door
        And found the bus was gone.

*don't worry, none of this actually happened! I just almost spit toothpaste in my hair and that's what started my crazy brain thinking. Have you ever had a morning like this though? Because I have.

This week on Everead
Ashley reviewed three books in one blow.
I talked about 2011 Cybils winners that I've read.
I gave away a good book.

I have had days like that, and I am afraid to admit thar I have spit toothpaste in my hair on more than one occassion.

Haha, I love this poem. Very clever. Yes, sometimes I have mornings like this . . . perhaps more often than not. :)
