Knock, Knock!

Levi is great at knock knock jokes!  Seriously, he's better at making them up than Benjamin is. Benjamin's tactic is to pick two totally unrelated things -- for maximum shock-and-confusion value. Levi picks something that he's thinking about, then adds something that is actually related. Here are some he has invented in the last week. (And may I remind you that he has not yet had his second birthday? I'm enjoying calling him a one-year-old for these last few weeks because it makes me feel like he's a little genius. Mom prerogative.)

Knock knock
Who's there?
Cars.
Cars who?
Cars, lets go!
(Oh, how Levi loves Disney/Pixar's Cars)

Knock knock
Who's there?
Phone.
Phone who?
Phone buttons!
(the best part of phones, don't you know?)

Knock knock
Who's there?
Henry.
Henry who?
Henry Cars. (The best part about Henry's house, perhaps?)

Knock knock
Who's there?
Poop.
Poop who?
Poop diapers!
(I think that speaks for itself)

That last one made me laugh the hardest. First, it is hilarious when he says the word "poop." Then, when one replies "Poop who?" it actually sounds much more like "Poo-poo" so that gets me every time.

Speaking of poop, the other night I handed him his toothbrush and he pointed to it and said "Poop." I was worried for a moment, until I realized he was not pointing to fecal matter, but to everyone's favorite stuffed-with-fluff Pooh. phew.

I did so enjoy Levi's knock knock jokes while at the stewart family reunion. What a cute and smart kid.
